Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Travel Chinese, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app provides

Travel Chinese provides travel-focused Mandarin lessons, phrases, audio, translations, pinyin, cultural notes, and role-play practice. The content is educational and practical, but it is not a professional translation, legal, medical, emergency, immigration, or financial service.

Free access, ads, and Premium

The free version may include in-app advertising. Premium unlocks all available lessons, premium voices, role-play practice, additional notes, and removes ads from the learning experience while the entitlement is active. Feature availability may vary by platform, store configuration, language, and app version.

Subscriptions

Weekly and yearly Premium plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Your store account is charged after purchase confirmation and again at renewal unless you cancel before the renewal deadline set by the store. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Lifetime purchase

Lifetime access is a one-time in-app purchase for the app features offered as lifetime Premium at the time of purchase and future updates we choose to include. It does not create a subscription and does not renew.

Trials, prices, refunds, and taxes

Any free trial, introductory price, regional price, tax, and billing period is shown by the store before purchase. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We cannot directly reverse store charges outside the tools provided by the stores.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, copy or redistribute lesson content at scale, bypass purchase checks, interfere with ads or store services, reverse engineer the app except where legally permitted, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law.

Availability and changes

We may update lessons, features, monetization, supported languages, or technical requirements. We may suspend features when needed for security, store compliance, platform changes, or maintenance.

Limitation of liability

Use the app at your own discretion. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Travel Chinese and ThinksView are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or travel-related losses arising from use of the app or reliance on educational content.
